The St John Origin Apprentice Bass offers a stripped back take on the familiar St John design, combining its distinctive offset shape with a simple, practical specification. A solid mahogany body is paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, while the 34 inch scale, 10 inch fingerboard radius and PJD Standard Bass neck contour provide a comfortable and familiar playing feel.

A single P style pickup delivers a strong, focused bass sound with plenty of warmth and definition. Straightforward volume and tone controls make it easy to shape your sound without unnecessary complication. A bone nut, 19mm bridge spacing and dual action truss rod provide dependable performance and adjustment. The open pore satin body and satin neck create a natural, smooth feel, with a choice of Midnight Black, Cream Soda, Shell Pink or Nato Olive finishes.
