St. John Origin Bass Standard

The St John Origin Standard Bass takes the familiar offset shape and character of our UK built St John bass and brings it to a more accessible platform. A solid mahogany body is paired with a maple neck and a choice of Indian rosewood or maple fingerboard, delivering a balanced feel with plenty of natural resonance. The 34 inch scale, 10 inch fingerboard radius and PJD Standard Bass neck contour make it comfortable and dependable across a wide range of playing styles.

Available with either JJ or PJ pickup configurations, the St John Origin Standard Bass offers the flexibility to cover everything from warm, rounded lows to clear and defined bass tones. Two independent volume controls make it easy to blend the pickups, while the master tone control provides simple and intuitive shaping. A bone nut, 19mm bridge spacing, satin neck and gloss body finish complete a practical, versatile instrument built for the stage, studio and rehearsal room.
