Our vintage hot humbucker is constructed using a Nickel Silver base plate, 43 AWG plain enamel wire over an Alnico 5 magnet. The Wadfather’s asymmetric coils provide a wealth of harmonic complexity with pronounced highs, lows and a slight scoop on midrange frequencies. This focused versatile pickup is scatter wound by hand.
